Dean Landers

Dean Landers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dean began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, where they advised customers, designed parts, conducted tests, and performed quality control tasks. Dean then transitioned to the role of Youth Director at All Souls Fellowship, where they created and led programs for high school students' spiritual and social development. As a Fulbright Grant recipient, Dean Landers taught Physics at Welham Girls School. Dean later joined the Georgia Institute of Technology as a GIFT Fellow, conducting research and implementing a program focused on design, innovation, and entrepreneurship for high school students. Following that, they worked as a Science Teacher at Gwinnett County Public Schools, teaching various subjects and achieving high success rates in AP Physics exams. Dean Landers then moved into the corporate world, starting as a Mechanical Engineer at CRB and eventually progressing to roles such as Director of Knowledge Management and Director of Corporate Development. In these positions, they led strategic initiatives, developed knowledge management programs, and contributed to the company's overall strategy. Overall, Dean Landers has a strong background in engineering, education, and corporate strategy.

Dean Landers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2003 and 2008. Dean then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Teaching - Science from Georgia State University, which they completed between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Dean holds the certification of Engineer in Training (EIT) from NCEES.
