Michael Woods

Michael Woods is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Vice President at CRC-IB since August 2022, having previously held positions as Senior Associate and Associate at the same company. Prior to CRC-IB, Michael worked as an Analyst at Brookfield Renewable and Clearway Energy Group from November 2021 to November 2021 and May 2020 to November 2021, respectively. Michael began their career at GDS Associates, Inc. as an Associate Analyst from November 2016 to July 2020 while also gaining experience as a Restructuring Intern at CohnReznick Capital and a Graduate Consultant at Wood Mackenzie in early 2020. Additional roles include Senior Editor at the Journal of International Affairs and Finance Intern at Pivotal180, alongside a Summer Associate position at ReNew Power. Michael holds a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Energy & Environmental Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maine.
