George Smith

George Smith has a diverse work experience, starting as an Applications Engineer at Flowserve from 2004 to 2007, where they developed mechanical face seals and worked on manufacturing issues. George then joined Creata in 2007 as a Senior Product Engineer, managing projects and designing products for high volumes. George later moved up to Manager of Product Development, where they led a team of engineers and coordinated with cross-functional teams. In 2015, they became the Senior Project Manager, overseeing the development of products. Finally, in 2018, they were promoted to Director of Product Development, and then to VP of Product Development.

George Smith attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2013, they obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
