Jay Gerak has extensive experience as a legal counsel, primarily focusing on corporate and regulatory issues. Before joining Creata, Gerak worked at T-Mobile as the Principal Corporate Counsel for Engineering & Operations. Jay also served as the Assistant General Counsel at APAC Customer Services, Inc., negotiating contracts and handling acquisitions and divestitures. Earlier in their career, Gerak worked as an Associate General Counsel at Sears, Roebuck and Co. and The Great Indoors. Jay began their career as an Associate Attorney at McDermott, Will & Emery. Notably, Gerak also gained experience at Motorola as a Senior Counsel, specializing in real estate and government contracts. Jay Gerak attended Brother Rice High School from 1976 to 1980. Jay then went on to the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in History with Distinction from 1980 to 1984. Following this, they attended the University of Michigan Law School from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Juris Doctorate in Law.
