Kath Geraghty

Kath Geraghty has extensive experience in the creative and design sectors, currently serving as Chair of the Creative and Design Route Panel at Skills England since June 2025. Geraghty is also a Board Member at Creative Access and has held various key positions at the National Theatre, including Head of Technical Qualifications and Workforce Development. Previous roles include Chair of the Creative and Design Route Panel at IfATE and Vice Chair at the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. Geraghty's early career includes positions as Technical Manager at Granary Theatre, University College Cork, and Senior Technician at Stephen Joseph Theatre. Geraghty holds an MPhil/PhD candidacy from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Master's in Women's Studies from University College Cork, and an HND in Engineering, Lighting and Sound from Oldham College.
