Candy Medusa

Candy Medusa is an accomplished artist with over three decades of experience in freelance illustration and upcycled art, specializing in wildlife, environmental, and marine themes. Projects include book covers, CD covers, and scientific illustrations, alongside bespoke commissions. Candy Medusa has held the role of Ocean Ambassador for eXXpedition since March 2016 and is actively involved in various artistic groups such as the Adur Art Collective and Creative Action Network. Previous roles include being an associate lecturer at The Open University and an ecologist for the Archelon, Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece. Academically, Candy Medusa holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Environmental Science from The Open University.
