Jason Steer has extensive experience in program management and development within the youth services sector. Notably, Jason served as Program Coordinator at the Youth Services Bureau in Stamford, where responsibility included delivering employment and transitional programs for high school youth. Jason held leadership roles at the Center for Alternative Sentencing & Employment Services, managing an Alternative to Detention program serving disconnected youth, and at the Apollo Theater, first as Associate Director for Career Development overseeing extensive programming for over 500 students, then as Education Manager for the Apollo Theater Academy ensuring adherence to educational goals. Additionally, Jason produced numerous public events, enhancing funding through strategic partnerships. Earlier experience includes program direction at Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, where Jason developed educational and recreational programs for diverse age groups.
