Joy Davis is currently the Visual Arts and Special Projects Director at Creative Alliance, overseeing curatorial, film, and resident artist programs. They serve as the director of Waller Gallery, which supports artists and scholars of color, and co-host and produce the Unravel Podcast. Joy is a graduate candidate at the Fashion Institute of Technology, focusing on African American and diasporic art, fashion history, and colonial dress, and holds BA degrees in History and Communication from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Prior experience includes roles as a project archivist, visual security officer, and managing archivist, among others.
