Gareth Edmondson

Gareth Edmondson is the current Studio Director at Creative Assembly, and has been with the company for over 6 years. Prior to their current position, Gareth held the title of COO, or Chief Operations Officer. In this role, Gareth was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as overseeing the development of new products and managing customer relationships.

Before joining Creative Assembly, Gareth was the CEO of Thumbstar Games, a mobile games publisher and developer. Gareth was with Thumbstar for 4 years and 7 months, during which time they oversaw the development and release of many successful mobile games.

Gareth is also the Vice Chairman of TIGA, the trade association representing the UK's games industry. Gareth has been with TIGA for 4 years and 4 months, and in this role they provide interviews and commentary on the state of the UK games industry to the press.

In addition to their work in the games industry, Gareth has also held positions in other industries. Gareth was previously the Managing Director of Reflections, a Ubisoft studio, for 5 years and 4 months. Prior to that, they were a Senior Project Manager in the Communication Division of Alan Dick and Company for 4 years and 2 months. Gareth has also worked as a Site Engineer for Birse Civils Ltd for 2 years.
