Marc Burrage

Marc Burrage has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marc began their career as a Senior Application Developer at Airborne Interactive in 2003 and later took on roles such as Development Team Lead and Development Manager. In 2006, Marc worked as a Police Constable at Cambridgeshire Constabulary.

Moving back into the tech industry, Marc joined CoDEStorm as a Digital Project Manager in 2011 and then became the Director of Development at Airborne Interactive Ltd. Marc managed the Development and Test teams and worked on software projects for major airlines. In 2014, they became a Project Director at D3R, where they focused on technical clients and ensured projects were completed on time and on spec.

Marc's expertise in digital projects continued as they served as a Digital Project Director at Strawberrysoup Ltd from 2016 to 2018. Marc then transitioned to Unipro as a Live Operations Director, overseeing the delivery of the Specsavers websites across multiple countries.

In 2020, Marc joined Creative Assembly as a Senior Producer for Total War Arena and later took on the role of Lead Producer. Marc played a critical role in the development cycle and rework of the game for its launch in China. Currently, Marc is working as a Project Development Director for an unannounced project at Creative Assembly.

Throughout their career, Marc has also had teaching experience as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Sussex since 2012.Overall, Marc Burrage has demonstrated their expertise in project management, digital development, and leadership across various industries.

Marc Burrage has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science from The Open University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Marc also holds A-Levels in Computing, Media Studies, and Geography from Chichester Joint 6th Form, which they completed from 1999 to 2001. In terms of certifications, Marc has obtained a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022 and a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance in 2020. Marc also holds a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in 2018. Additionally, Marc has obtained several certificates from The Open University, including a Diploma of Higher Education in Computing and IT in 2013, a Certificate in Computing & Mathematics in 2012, and a Certificate in IT & Computing in 2011. Marc has also completed an Introduction to Management course from the Chartered Institute of Management in 2010.
