Tamara Whyte

Tamara Whyte currently serves as a Committee Member for the Content Grants Advisory Committee at the Community Broadcasting Foundation, and as a Director at The Hairy Marys SPV, co-creating a short form comedy series focused on women who are carers. As Chairperson of the Board at Indigenous Community Television (ICTV) and a Peer Assessor for Creative Australia, Tamara engages in various cultural initiatives and assessments. Additionally, from March 2022 to March 2024, Tamara functioned as a Trauma Informed Care Facilitator at Laynhapuy Homelands Aboriginal Corporation, working extensively with Yolngu communities. Previous roles include Committee Member at Gove Arts Theatre, Script Writer for an Indigenous Maths documentary, and Regional Coordinator at NTPHN, overseeing primary health projects. Tamara's academic qualifications encompass a Master of Arts in Indigenous Social Policy, a Bachelor of Arts in Drama, and diplomas in Screen & Media.
