Mathew Parry

Mathew Parry is a seasoned professional in the creative industry, currently serving as the Manager of Creative Industry Programs at Creative BC since September 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing programs such as the Project Development Fund and the Passport to Market Program. Previous roles include Program Analyst and Location Consultant at Creative BC, along with experience as a Documentary Filmmaker at MIP Creative, producing noteworthy films such as "Super Parkinson's Zachery" and "Hives For Humanity - the Power of Bees." Mathew's background also encompasses freelance work in TV production at Shaw TV, script reading and analysis for various organizations, and international production advisory roles, including work with the UK Film Council - USA and the Wales Screen Commission. Mathew holds an MA in Social and Economic Welsh History from Aberystwyth University and a BA in Humanities from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, along with ongoing education in Documentary Film Production at Langara College.
