Gryph T. is a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo and the co-founder of Groupthink Labs, where they focus on turning research into practical applications through user-centered governance and operational strategies. With over a decade of experience in building organizational capacity, Gryph has founded Thero and served as the country leader for Creative Commons Canada, advocating for open access to science, education, and culture. Previously, they held various roles, including Program Manager for the Investment Readiness Program and Associate Researcher at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they explored adaptive governance strategies. Gryph's academic background includes a BA in International Development from Dalhousie University and multiple certifications in project management and business analysis.
