Bill Cardoso

CEO at Creative Electron, Inc.

Bill Cardoso has a diverse and successful work experience in various leadership roles. Bill started their career at Robotec Automation Systems as the Founder and CEO in 1996. Later, they worked as the Department Head for Systems Engineering at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory from 1998 to 2007. In 2007, they became the President of Aguila Technologies before starting their own company, Creative Electron, Inc., in 2008. At Creative Electron, they served as the CEO and grew the company to become the largest US manufacturer of x-ray machines for the electronics industry. In 2021, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Scorpion EV, a company that focuses on electric-powered Cobra tribute cars.

Bill Cardoso completed their education with the following degrees: a BSEE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 1998, an Electronics Technologist degree from Occidental Schools in 1990, an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2000, a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2004, and an MBA with a focus on Economics, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2007.
