Nazim Ahmed

Nazim Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nazim is currently the Founder & CEO of remx.xyz, a company that empowers creators to utilize web3 and AI technologies to create healthier communities through exclusive memberships and rewards. Prior to this, they were also the Founder & CEO of Creative Layer, the makers of remx.xyz. In 2021, Nazim's previous venture, Canvaspop, was acquired by Circle Graphics. Nazim served as the Co-Founder & CEO of Canvaspop, a platform that transforms digital images into large format artwork. Beyond the entrepreneurial sphere, Nazim has also provided their expertise as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Invest Ottawa Accelerator Program and as a mentor for the Founder Institute. Earlier in their career, they co-founded DNA 11 Inc. and worked in technical sales at Bio-Rad Laboratories. Starting out as a molecular biologist, Nazim worked at the CHEO Research Institute.

Nazim Ahmed graduated with a B.Sc. Honors in Genetics from Western University in 2000. Nazim then pursued further education in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Ottawa from 2000 to 2002.
