Eric Schmidt

Eric Schmidt is currently serving as a Tax Manager at Creative Planning since January 2026. Prior to this role, Eric held multiple positions at Compeer Financial from 2018 to 2025, including Regional Manager Tax and Accounting and Associate Tax Consultant, specializing in tax planning and compliance for farm entities and small businesses in Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota. Eric Schmidt earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Ethical Leadership from Viterbo University.
