Peter Lauer

Peter Lauer is a Partner and Managing Director at Creative Planning Inc. in Los Angeles, where Peter has been leading since July 2014. Under Peter's leadership, Creative Planning was recognized by Barron’s as the #1 Independent Wealth Management Firm in America in 2017, offering a range of services including investment management, financial and estate planning, tax planning, and retirement consulting. Prior to this role, Peter served as Managing Director and Senior Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab from May 2002 to July 2014. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Redlands, earned between 1994 and 1998.
