Akeisha Brown

Akeisha Brown is an experienced professional in the field of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), currently serving as the EDI Development Lead at Creative Support since August 2024. Previously, Akeisha was a Learning Facilitator at Seetec from December 2023 to August 2024 and held multiple roles at Greater Manchester Combined Authority, including EDI Senior Advisor and EDI Training Coordinator from April 2022 to December 2023. Akeisha also worked as the EDI Project Co-Ordinator and Co-Chair of the Race Equality Staff Forum at Luminate Education Group between May 2020 and April 2022. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Business Engagement Officer at Leeds City College from September 2019 to May 2021 and as a Co-Researcher at Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence from April 2017 to May 2018, focusing on student employability. Akeisha holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Leeds, obtained in 2019, and studied at Winstanley College from 2014 to 2016.
