Jonathon Shaw

Jonathon (Jonny) Shaw is an experienced Senior Lighting Engineer currently working at Creative Technology since May 2024. Previously, Jonny held the position of Senior Engineer and Technical Specialist at Encore from November 2021 to May 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a System Integration Technician and Warehouse Manager at Neumann&Müller Event Technology, where installation of lighting and effects for Dubai Expo 2020 was a key responsibility. Jonny also worked as the LX 1 Touring Head of Lighting for the international tour of the West End show "Thriller Live" and has held various technical roles across productions, including Master Technician/Technical Manager at The Shop Ibiza and Special Effects Technician with Quantum Special Effects for Fast & Furious Live. Jonny's earlier roles also include Assistant Production Manager at Carnival UK, Touring Technical Manager at EXCHANGE EVENTS LIMITED, and various positions at Bourne Leisure Ltd. An educational background at Bishop Burton College was completed between 2011 and 2012.
