Our Story

Creative Time Lab was founded in Lyon as a non-profit platform for exploring how our relationship with time—especially the future—shapes our mental health, creativity, and capacity for collective change.

Rooted in scientific research on time perspective and futurization, the Lab brings together psychologists, artists, designers, educators, and community partners to reimagine how we engage with the future. Through immersive installations, participatory workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborations, we turn complex research into tangible, shared experiences that inspire reflection, agency, and hope.

Our flagship project, The Space of Futurization, has been presented at the Terres du Son festival in France and is based on more than a decade of international research led by Dr. Anna Sircova and the Time Perspective Network. This interactive installation helps people—especially youth—transform future-related anxiety into creative engagement and meaningful action.

At Creative Time Lab, we are searching for ways to help people look into the future without the freezing anxiety. By merging science and art, we create spaces for dialogue, emotional resilience, and collective imagination—because the future begins in how we think, feel, and act right now.
