Nina Guo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nina started their career as a Research Assistant at MIT CSAIL, where they contributed to the development of Exhibit, a web application framework, and designed the MIT Course Picker. Nina then worked as a Software Intern at Cisco Systems before joining the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab as a Game Programmer. At the lab, they also served as a Web Programmer in a different role. Nina later interned as a Game Developer at PlayFirst, Inc. In 2010, they returned to MIT CSAIL as a Research Assistant. Nina then transitioned to Zynga, where they held multiple roles. As a Software Engineer, they implemented core game systems and integrated central services for Farmville 2. As a Senior Software Engineer, they architectured and implemented changes required for the Facebook Graph API 2.x update and improved game performance by optimizing user blob sizes. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Software Engineer at CreativeLive.
Nina Guo attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering, with a focus on Management Science. Nina then pursued further education at the same institution from 2010 to 2011, completing a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
