Based in the Bavarian city of Wertingen, Germany, CREATON AG is one of the leading premium suppliers of plain and pressed roofing tiles in Europe. At 9 locations with a total of 15 manufacturing plants, the manufacturer uses state-of-the-art technology to turn clay – the raw material you can depend on – into brand products for aesthetically pleasing, reliable and high-quality roofs. The large selection of colours and shapes of clay roofing tiles and the matching genuine accessories offer almost unlimited design freedom for virtually any style of roof. With what is probably the most tightly-knit sales network in the industry and a strong focus on customer service, CREATON AG’s business model is based on market presence and the establishment of long-term, trusting customer relationships – a model that has now served the company successfully for more than 125 years. The company has around 1,000 employees and is majority-owned by the Etex Group, a building materials group with a worldwide presence based in Brussels, Belgium.
