Prior to this, Samya held various significant roles at Netflix from June 2019 to July 2022, including Manager of Post Production for Nonfiction in India, where responsibilities encompassed budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. With prior experience at Hotstar, including the positions of Assistant Creative Partner and Senior Producer, along with roles at MASS Entertainment, The Entertainment Mafia, and other notable companies, Samya boasts a robust background in post-production supervision and creative management. Samya's educational credentials include an Executive Program in Communication Strategies from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor's degree in Media Science from NSHM Institute of Media and Communication.
