Chip Bok

Chip Bok is a seasoned cartoonist and writer with extensive experience in editorial and political cartooning. Beginning at Knight Ridder from 1983 to 1987, Bok created a weekly cartoon for the Miami Herald Sunday Magazine and illustrated Dave Barry's humor column. Since then, Bok has contributed to Creators Syndicate as a political cartoonist, producing four cartoons weekly for a diverse client list. In addition to maintaining a personal website, Bokbluster.com, to showcase original cartoons, Bok has authored and illustrated books, including "The 9/11 Crisis in Political Cartoons" and "A Look Bok: A Recent History of the United States in Political Cartoons." Bok has also worked as a designer for the early online service Viewtron and served as an editorial cartoonist for the Akron Beacon Journal from 1987 to 2008, where six cartoons were produced weekly. Educational background includes a BA in English from the University of Dayton.
