Phil Furey

Phil Furey has been working in the media industry since 2001. Phil began their career as a TV News Producer at Reuters News Agency, where they covered a variety of topics, including general news, entertainment, politics, business, sports, computers, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, environment and natural disasters. In 2002, they took on a role as an Assistant to the Assignment News Editor at WCVB Boston - Assignments Desk ABC News Boston Affiliate and an Intern/Assistant at Hearst. From 2005 to 2016, they worked as a Director/Writer/Producer/Composer for the documentary film Since: The Bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as an Independent Documentary Filmmaker/Producer, producing for small budget/independent documentary films in varying stages of production and post-production. Phil Furey currently works as a Media Producer at CreatorUp.

Phil Furey graduated from Boston University in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
