Senior Director of Community Impact at Creature Comforts Brewing

Matthew Stevens is the current Senior Director of Community Impact at Creature Comforts Brewing. Prior to their current position, Stevens was the Director of Stewardship at Athens Church from May 2015 to September 2017. In this role, they built and developed community partners, led the annual 'Be Rich' Campaign, and developed and directed the 'Do For One' initiative. Matthew also participated in series prep and weekly service programming, and maintained master events and communications calendars.

Before their time at Athens Church, Stevens served as the Associate Director at UGA Costa Rica from September 2009 to May 2015. In this role, they assisted in the development and administration of 25 annual study abroad programs, managed all Athens office operations, set agenda for weekly multinational staff meetings, and drafted program calendars and budgets. Matthew also oversaw brand identity, social media, and marketing initiatives; press and public relations; and community outreach efforts. Additionally, they recruited and managed 70+ volunteer team members and managed internship participants from UGA’s Terry School of Business.

Matthew Stevens has a degree in Film Studies from the University of Edinburgh, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia, and a BA in Drama and Film Studies from the University of Georgia. Matthew also has a diploma from Brookwood High School.

Matthew Stevens reports to Chris Herron, CEO & Co-Founder. Matthew Stevens works with Daniel LePage - Director of Quality, Evan Partridge - Director of Innovation, and Brie Radl - Application Development Manager.
