Frédéric Rey is a Canadian tenor with a diverse background in technology and innovation, project management, and opera singing. In 2019, they began working as a Senior Manager, Technology and Innovation at CreditXpert, where they worked to make mortgage credit scores transparent and actionable by lenders and their borrowers. In 2018, they were a Project Manager / Scrum Master at The Oxford Club, where they managed infrastructure modernization, proprietary software applications, web development, and internal Service Desk. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Project Manager / IT Business Analyst at Cirdan Group, where they analyzed IT projects to evaluate results, identify risks, mitigation strategies, and presented findings to stakeholders. From 2010 to 2015, they were an opera singer, performing in roles such as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Goffredo (Rinaldo), Captain Richard Warrington (Naughty Marietta), Ralph (HMS Pinafore), and Frederic (The Pirates of Penzance).

Frédéric then went on to receive a MMus from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University from 1998 to 2005. Most recently, they obtained a Masters of Information Technology from Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2020, with a focus on Software Development, Big Data, Business Information Systems and Health Information Technology. In addition, Frédéric Rey has obtained several certifications, such as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2017, a Certified Tester Foundation Level and Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Extension from ASTQB - Official Page - American Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2017, and Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E), Certified Agile Leadership for Organizations (CAL-O), and Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T) from Scrum Alliance in 2022.
