Maxim Piessen

Maxim Piessen has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they became the CTO and Co-founder of Credix, a company that is building the future of global credit markets. In 2020, they became a Data Science Teacher at Le Wagon, teaching a 9-week bootcamp on data science. In 2019, they became the Lead AI & Data Product Manager VELMA at IntellectEU, responsible for defining IntellectEU's AI- and data strategy. In 2017, they founded Photrea, a photo-sharing platform. In 2016, they were a Junior Account at Production Office BVBA. In 2015, they were the PR Director and PR Manager at SINC vzw. Maxim also held the role of Lecturer and Writer on Macro Photography at Maxim Piessen Photography since 2011.

Maxim Piessen's education history includes completing a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Antwerp in 2012, followed by a 1st semester Master's degree in Physics from Stellenbosch University in 2015. Maxim then returned to the University of Antwerp to complete their Master's degree in Physics with a minor in business in 2017. In 2018, they attended KU Leuven to obtain an Advanced Master in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics. Prior to that, they attended Le Wagon in 2017 to become a Full Stack Developer in Webdevelopment. Maxim also attended Moretus Ekeren from 2006 to 2012 for Science Mathematics (8u).
