David Speck is a membrane protein biochemist who specializes in protein engineering for cryo-EM and structure-based drug design. Currently a Senior Scientist at CRELUX, they previously worked as a PhD researcher at Charité, focusing on the structural elucidation and pharmacological characterization of membrane proteins. David holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Biochemistry from Freie Universität Berlin, where they also earned their Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. Throughout their career, David has successfully managed multidisciplinary projects, supervised teams, and introduced innovative solutions in protein research.
