Sam Klein

Vice President, Senior Fellow at Crescend Technologies

Sam Klein has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1986. Sam began their career as the President and Founder of Cellular Design Corp. In 1998, they joined the Mid Island Pilots Club as an Officer, Pres./VP/Sect/Treasurer, etc. In 1999, they founded and became Managing Partner of Technology Associates. From 2006-2010, they served as Chairman of the Board at Power Module Technology Inc., where they were responsible for designing, developing, manufacturing and selling broadband pallet/module amplifiers to FM Radio Broadcast, VHF TV/UHF TV transmitter integrators, military and commercial/Industrial communications radio manufacturers. In 2011, they joined HD Communications as an Engineer and in 2012, they became a Board Member of Aerospace Education Corp. In addition, Sam has held roles as an Investor with HIPnTASTY, a Director at Infra-Com Technologies Inc., and a Board Member at 433 Sutton Corp. Currently, they are Vice President and Senior Fellow at Crescend Technologies, LLC.

Sam Klein obtained a BSEE from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Electronics, Physics, and Math. Sam then obtained an MSEE from Santa Clara University in Electronics. Sam Klein also obtained an MBA from the University of Iowa. In addition, Sam Klein has obtained various certifications, such as a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Old Crows in November 2011, Senior CET, Certifications MSS & R56 from ETA International in 2010, an Amateur Radio Operator from the Federal Communications Commission, a Commercial Radio Telephone License from the Federal Communications Commission, a Pilot's License - Instrument Rated from the Federal Aviation Administration, and a Radio Club of America - Fellow from the Radio Club of America.
