Patrick Ray

Patrick Ray is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in consulting, project management, and engineering. Currently serving as a Consultant at Crescendo Management since 2020, Patrick manages client relationships and develops proposals, focusing on sell-side M&A lead generation and financial analysis. As Innovation Program Manager at Rice University's Liu Idea Lab for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Patrick concurrently oversees multiple projects and advises over 100 startups in strategy and product development. Previously, Patrick held teaching positions at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, after earning an MBA there. With a solid engineering background, including roles as a Testing, Design, and Controls Engineer at Pinnacle Engines and a CNC Operator at Alley's Industrial Service, Patrick combines technical expertise with business acumen, having also achieved a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
