Crescendo, which has consistently ranked amongst the top asset managers in Switzerland, has become a destination over the past 20 years for international families seeking to adopt the Endowment Philosophy in respect to the management of their wealth.

Crescendo Partners was founded in 2004 in Geneva, by the late Jacques Diwan and Douglas Kalen as an independent asset manager. Throughout his career, Mr. Jacques Diwan had built a reputation as a trusted advisor to prominent families and was a pioneer in incorporating alternative and private market investments into multi-asset class portfolios.

In 2024, as the company celebrated its 20th anniversary, it went through a successful generational transition during which Benjamin Diwan, became Co-Managing Partner with Douglas Kalen, bringing alongside them two well established families as new strategic shareholders.

Today, under the leadership of Douglas Kalen and Benjamin Diwan, Crescendo serves over 100 ultra-high-net worth families mostly based in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. With its history, scale and the backing of strategic shareholders, Crescendo has cultivated unparalleled access to best-in-class investment opportunities and exclusive managers to serve them.
