Ken S.

Ken S. has a vast and diverse work experience. Ken most recently worked at CrescentCare as the IT Director, overseeing IT Technicians and help desk services. Ken collaborated with the Applications Administrator to maintain the IT ticketing system and effectively managed incidents and requests. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Owner of Jester IT Consulting and the Director of Network Enterprise, Systems Administration, and Technology Support at Xavier University of Louisiana. Ken also served as the Sr. IT Manager at JW Marriott Houston, the Director of IT Services and Operations at Toyo Engineering & Construction S/B, and held various senior roles at Skyhawk Security, GeoCent, Gulf South Technology Solutions, LLC., All Covered, and Sparkhound. Their responsibilities included project management, network infrastructure engineering, and system administration.

Ken S. began their education at Peabody Magnet High School, where they pursued a College Prep curriculum from 1978 to 1982. After completing high school, they enrolled in Louisiana State University from 1982 to 1985, majoring in Psychology and Computer Science, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

Following their time at LSU, Ken S. continued their education at Southern University from 1984 to 1987, where they focused on Psychology, earning another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Ken S. obtained an FAA Remote Pilots Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in August 2017.
