Michael Pope

Michael Pope has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Michael started their career as a Vice President/Commercial Lender at Pinnacle Bank in 1998, and then moved on to Bank of Travelers Rest in 2000, where they held the same position until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they served as President at Asset Purchase Group. In 2015, they held the role of Vice President/Commercial Lender at GrandSouth Bank before transitioning to property management as a self-employed professional. Michael then returned to banking in 2017 as a Vice President/Commercial Lender at CresCom Bank before joining United Bank in 2020, where they currently serve in the same position.

Michael Pope attended the University of North Carolina Asheville from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Studies.
