Tanner Smith

Tanner Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Tanner started their career at DCS/Trafodata as a Regional Sales Manager in Washington D.C., where they successfully managed sales and existing accounts, including U.S. Military accounts. In 2001, they joined First Community Bank as an Assistant Vice President Information Security Officer, where they audited, secured, and monitored information systems and controls. Tanner also authored security policies and ensured compliance. In 2015, Tanner moved to First South Bank as a Vice President City Executive until 2020. During this time, they held a leadership role and managed city operations. In 2018, they joined CresCom Bank as a Senior Vice President/Market Executive, where they played a crucial role in the bank's executive team. Finally, in 2020, Tanner joined United Bank as a Market Executive SVP, where they currently hold a position.

Tanner Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Computer Science from Bluefield State University from 1996 to 2000. Tanner later pursued a Masters in Business Administration in Business at West Virginia University from 2003 to 2005.
