Stephen Hunt started their career in 1997 as a Development Engineer at Southpower. Stephen then moved on to CIC Global, where they worked as a Senior Development Engineer until 2003. In 2006, they joined Arc Innovations as a Principal Solutions Architect and stayed with the company until 2015. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Vector Advanced Metering Services as a Metering Architecture Manager. Currently, they are working at CrescoNet as an Architecture Manager.
Stephen Hunt attended the University of Canterbury from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (Distinction) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
