Jason Smart

Jason Smart is currently the Director of Threat Intelligence APAC at PwC Australia, where they lead global threat intelligence efforts in the region. They previously held key positions at PwC UK, including Cyber Threat Detection & Response Senior Manager, where they managed a team focused on Advanced Persistent Threat campaigns. Before joining PwC, Jason served as a Senior Information Security Analyst at the Department of Defence of Australia, specializing in Advanced Persistent Threats. Their career began in customer service management at Westnet, and they have been involved with the Cyber Threat Intelligence Professionals Sub-Committee since 2020. Jason holds a Bachelor of Computer and Network Security from Edith Cowan University.
