Tom Brennan

Tom Brennan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and risk management. As the Principal Consultant and CEO of Proactive Risk since January 2001, Tom has led multiple initiatives in the field. In addition to this role, Tom serves as the Government & Regulatory Ambassador, North American Chairman, and International Council Member for CREST since January 2022. Other significant roles include Chief Information Officer at Mandelbaum Barrett PC, active participation in the ICT Supply Chain Risk Management & AI Task Force for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and cofounding Nonprofit Cyber. Tom also contributes to various advisory boards, including The Retired Investigators Guild, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, County College of Morris, and New Jersey Institute of Technology. Further involvement includes a contributor role at MITRE until April 2025.
