Zayd Enam

Co-Founder & CEO at Cresta

Zayd Enam is the co-founder and CEO of Cresta, a healthcare marketplace in Pakistan. Zayd previously worked as a co-founder at MediConnect, a company that allows patients to book doctor's appointments online.

Enam has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, having built a healthcare marketplace in Pakistan and signing on to some of the largest hospitals in Karachi. Zayd's work has been recognized with an APICTA Award in 2009.

Cresta was founded in order to provide patients with more options when it comes to choosing a healthcare provider. With Cresta, patients can shop based on price, ratings, distance and wait times, among other factors.

Zayd Enam is a self-taught computer programmer who dropped out of Stanford University's PhD program in artificial intelligence. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they double majored in electrical engineering and computer science with high honors. Zayd also attended community college and Karachi Grammar School.
