John Timotheou

John Timotheou is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in managing and developing technology strategies within financial services. Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer at SummitTX Capital since February 2025, John oversees technology strategy, infrastructure, and AI development, driving innovation to enhance investment processes. Prior roles include Head of Technology Strategy, Chief Information Officer, and Co-CIO at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., as well as Director of Front Office Technology at Point72 Asset Management. At SAC Capital, John held various positions, including Director and Vice President, managing IT efforts and leading teams to support regulatory compliance and portfolio management. John began the career as a Software Developer at ISO and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo.
