We’re building Crewa, a two-sided marketplace connecting property owners with verified local tradespeople. The goal is simple: make it easy to find reliable help and fair for tradesmen to get work.

Today, hiring a tradesperson is broken. Property owners post in neighborhood groups and get flooded with unverified responses, call contractors who never show up, or use platforms that continue sending messages long after they’ve already found someone. There’s no clear way to verify who is walking into your home, and the process is inefficient and stressful.

On the other side, tradesmen are stuck in an equally broken system. Many platforms charge anywhere from $15 to $200 per lead, sell that same lead to multiple competitors, take a percentage of every job, and penalize inactivity by reducing visibility. The result is wasted money, inconsistent work, and a system that rewards platforms more than the people actually doing the work.

Crewa solves this by creating a transparent, verified marketplace. Property owners can post jobs or directly search for professionals in their area. Every tradesperson is government ID verified before completing their first job, giving homeowners more confidence in who they’re hiring.

Instead of paying per lead or losing commission, tradesmen pay a flat monthly fee and keep 100% of what they earn. They can build a real profile with reviews, showcase past work, and connect with other verified tradespeople to collaborate on larger jobs—something no current platform offers.

We built Crewa because we’ve lived this problem. Having worked in the trades from a young age, we’ve seen firsthand how inefficient and frustrating the current system is for both sides. Our goal is to remove friction, restore trust, and create a platform that actually works for the people using it.
