Chris Shea is a seasoned professional with a background in conservation biology and sales. From September 2016 to September 2020, Chris worked as a Conservation Biologist at the NJ School of Conservation. Following that role, Chris transitioned to Rollins, Inc. as a Field Sales representative from September 2020 until June 2022, and then served in Enterprise Cloud Sales at Confluent from July 2022 to July 2023. Currently, Chris is a Senior Account Executive at Redpanda Data, with a focus on providing a modern implementation of Apache Kafka, and has been with CrewAI as an Enterprise Account Executive since July 2025. Chris holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Montclair State University and a degree from High Point University.
