John Orr

John Orr has extensive experience in various roles within the financial services and business development industries. John is currently the Managing Partner at Centennial Peaks Capital, where they specialize in M&A advisory, capital formation, and business consulting for small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at Crewe Capital, where they provided a wide range of financial services to a diverse client base.

Before their roles at Centennial Peaks Capital and Crewe Capital, John held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Ascent Capital Group, Inc. John played a key role in repositioning the company and completed multiple strategic acquisitions, making Ascent the second-largest domestic alarm monitoring company.

Earlier in their career, John worked at Liberty Media as Vice President of Business Development, where they analyzed and negotiated mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions. John also sat on the boards of directors of affiliate companies. Prior to Liberty Media, they advised Telecommunications, Inc. (TCI) business units as Vice President, evaluating and executing telecommunications and technology acquisitions.

John's professional journey began at The Quaker Oats Company, where they worked as a Manager of Business Development. Overall, John Orr has built a strong background in financial services, M&A advisory, and business development throughout their career.

John Orr earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1985. John then pursued a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, they obtained certifications as an Investment Banking Representative and Uniform Securities Agent State Law from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
