Mark Roden

Mark Roden is currently working as the VP of Data at Crexi since June 2022. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Tetra Bio Distributed, a non-profit organization focused on creating open-source medical devices. Mark also worked as a Project Lead at Helpful Engineering, coordinating the efforts of volunteers to produce a ventilator splitter. Mark has also held positions at Ticketmaster as a Distinguished Data Scientist and Director of Data Science, where they worked on fraud detection and recommendation systems. Mark was an Accomplished Data Scientist at Live Nation, responsible for fraud detection and queue management. Additionally, Mark has experience as a Senior Manager of Data Science at Inform, a Co-founder at The Oncode Group, and a Data Scientist at NDN, Inc. Mark also co-founded Medical Vision Systems, LLC and worked as a Consultant and Senior Software Engineer at iCRco Inc.

Mark Roden completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a minor in Computer Science, at Carnegie Mellon University from 1995 to 1999. Mark then attended UCLA and earned a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2005 to 2006. Continuing their education at UCLA, Mark received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering from 2006 to 2009.
