Jonathan Harry

Jonathan Harry is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as Procurement Director at CRH since December 2016, where Jonathan leads teams across three countries and contributes to the Executive Committee of Tarmac. Previously, Jonathan held the role of Procurement Director at British Gas from January 2009 to November 2016, overseeing a significant annual third-party spend of £2.5 billion and implementing a new procurement approach to support commercial strategy. Additional roles at British Gas included Head of Supply Chain Procurement & Development, where Jonathan achieved over £40 million in savings, and Head of Commercial for British Gas Community Energy, leading successful bids over £100 million. Earlier in his career, Jonathan was Head of Procurement at Centrica, managed significant procurement initiatives, and worked at Nortel as Supply Chain Manager. Jonathan holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Economics from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography & Economics from Coventry University.
