Mark Butler is an experienced sustainability and environmental professional with a robust background in environmental management and science. Currently serving as Sustainability Manager at CRH since June 2021, Mark previously held the position of Environmental Manager at Irish Cement Limited from October 2014 to June 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as Environmental Scientist at Golder Associates and Environmental Project Scientist at Alcontrol Laboratories. Mark's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Monitoring from Ulster University, an Advanced Diploma in Planning and Environmental Law from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, and postgraduate qualifications in environmental toxicology, alongside a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and Technology and a BSc in Environmental Protection from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
