Declan Shanaghy

Declan Shanaghy is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Cribl.cloud Architect at Cribl since March 2021, Declan previously held various roles at Splunk from August 2010 to March 2021, including Cloud Architect and Lead Software Engineer. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Mobile Application Architect at Tactel AB, where two premier applications for Motorola Android were developed, and holding positions at W5 Networks, KLA-Tencor, and Genentech, where a range of software solutions were designed and implemented. Declan holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering from the University of Limerick, awarded in 2000.
