Crimson Equity Partners (CEP) is the first-ever student-led private equity fund. We combine hands-on investment experience with alumni engagement to prepare the next generation of finance leaders. Our mission is to deliver attractive returns to investors while providing students with a one-of-a-kind experiential learning opportunity at the Kelley School of Business.

CEP operates as both an educational platform and a professional investment vehicle.
Students source, evaluate, and present investment opportunities alongside experienced alumni, guided by a faculty-led investment committee. This structure creates value in multiple ways, including (1) hands-on learning for students through real-world investment review, LP communication, and fund engagement; and (2) attractive returns for investors via alumni network–sourced co-investments.
