Susan Roots

Susan Roots is currently the Director of Risk Management at Cripps, where they are responsible for managing the global professional indemnity insurance program and advising on regulatory and compliance matters. They previously held the position of Senior Risk and Compliance Lawyer at Fieldfisher from 2012 to 2025 and served as Associate Director at Aon Ltd from 2004 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Susan worked as an Assistant Solicitor for Barlow Lyde & Gilbert and as a Trainee Solicitor and Assistant Solicitor at Davies Arnold Cooper LLP. Susan holds a B.A. Hons in Law & Politics from the University of Nottingham, attended The College of Law in London, and graduated from Chatham Grammar School for Girls.
