Pear Shaikh

Pear Shaikh is a development professional currently serving as the Centre Manager at CRISIL Foundation, focusing on RBI's Money-wise Centre for Financial Literacy Project. Previously, they worked as a Field Executive at the University of Kalyani on a project about financial inclusion among tribal communities in West Bengal and Odisha. Pear also completed an internship at the Nature Environment & Wildlife Society, where they studied the social and economic impacts of improved cook stoves on Sundarban mangroves. Pear is pursuing a B.Sc in Geography (Hons) at the University of Kalyani and holds an M.A in Rural Studies from Visva-Bharati.
